Become the Author of Your Own Story with Daily Growth Hacks:

Every single day we release a new tip, trick, or insight that will challenge you to look at your life in a new way and give you guidance on taking the steps needed to creating a life you love. You were meant to live an epic life. You were created to be the author of your own story. You are destined to experience a life full of freedom and joy.

Many personal growth podcasts or webinars are once a week, once a month, or cost money to enjoy. We’ve created our daily growth hacks because we believe in daily growth. We believe that committing to your growth every day makes the largest difference. These daily growth hacks are anywhere from 3-10 minutes every morning (the perfect amount of time to sit down, enjoy your morning coffee, and listen to (or watch) an episode). In these episodes, we talk about ways to grow and expand in what we call the five to thrive: mind, body, soul, relationships, and business.

Throw Your Old Dogmas Away & Get Out of the Dogma House

Throw Your Old Dogmas Away & Get Out of the Dogma House
January 2, 2018

All of us in life have dogmas, external dogmas or ideologies that are placed upon us, things that we just assume to be true, things that we’ve always things we should do, right? You’ve heard that term in these daily growth hacks that you don’t want to should all over yourself. We have these “shoulds”. I should spend more time with my family. I should work more. I should go to the gym. I should get up at 4:00 in the morning. I should stay up ’til 2:00 in the morning working. The shoulds go on and on.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!
January 1, 2018

Happy New Year! The new year’s a time of rebirth, a time of cleansing, a time to start over. Yeah, it’s an arbitrary day on a calendar, but still, it’s a great time to not only reflect on the past but to really be present and move forward into your own future, into your own story. As your story shifts and changes, how do you actually navigate those waters? I’d like to give you a couple resources. We did a seven-day course, Seven Days to Becoming the Author of Your Own Story. It’s totally free. There are no catches. There are no gimmicks. This is a course we filmed a little over two years ago, I think, at this point. It’s me talking, but also giving exercises.

Reflection

Reflection
December 31, 2017

Here we are the day before the New Year. This is a time of natural reflection. A time where we can look back, go through our journals, look at old pictures, and see what we’ve accomplished in 2017. Now, what I want you to do is actually consider the possibility that you’ve forgotten a lot of the accomplishments that you’ve achieved. That you’ve forgotten in your Five to Thrive, all the growth that you’ve had. And oftentimes what we look at are the things that we did not achieve. We focus on those tasks, those business sales calls that we didn’t make, or we weren’t able to actually connect with. Those aspects of our lives that we didn’t get, rather than focusing on all that we have. The abundance that’s actually inside of us, an inside of our lives.

Fighting Mediocrity

Fighting Mediocrity
December 30, 2017

In a conversation I had with a friend of mine, we were talking about goals and how people actually strive for goals and New Years resolutions. Now often times if you look at the statistics, New Year’s resolutions just don’t play out. And why is that? It’s because a lot of us just settle. We set these goals on an arbitrary timeline and then we just settle for mediocrity right. We settle for what was or the easy path.

See the Obvious

See the Obvious
December 29, 2017

There’s an old saying that goes something like this: only the most foolish of mice would hide in a cat’s ear, but only the wisest of cats would ever think to look there. Now, I love this saying as I related it to a client of mine. I was talking about his business, but I think about this in all of our five to thrive. How often do we, actually, as people that are alphas … We’re out there just doing more in the world, right? You’re listening to a podcast. You’re watching me speak. Whatever it is that you’re digesting this content, you’re choosing to be here now.

Why Aren’t You A 10?

Why Aren’t You A 10?
December 28, 2017

I just got back from a three-hour ruck with a business owner where I did a coaching session with him. Now, if you’re not familiar with what a ruck, a ruck is really when you fill a backpack up with weight. In this case, it happened to be over 20 pounds, and you go for a walk or a hike really. What we decided to do is meet for one of our coaching sessions and actually do a ruck. Actually, do a long walk while we talked and had a conversation.

Moving Away From Something Or Moving Right Towards It

Moving Away From Something Or Moving Right Towards It
December 27, 2017

Now in every course of an action, we’re either moving towards something or away from something. And most often this is unconscious. We’re either moving away from something that scares us or we’re moving away from fear or we’re moving away from something that hurts us, and hopefully, we’re moving toward something that empowers us and makes us better people.

Revisit: You Haven’t Proven Yourself Yet

Revisit: You Haven’t Proven Yourself Yet
December 26, 2017

So, what do I mean by you haven’t proven yourself yet? Well, I’m talking to a specific segment of us, and I include myself in that segment. If you are constantly bettering yourself, you also are constantly changing. This is especially true if personal development or business development or just growth in general is newer to you. That means not just new that you just are first learning about it, but you’re really actually diving in.

If you’ve been listening to these Daily Growth Hacks, we’ve done over 50 of them now, and if you’ve been actually putting into action the Call to Action at the end of each of them, you have changed your life dramatically, I can guarantee that.

Revisit: Changing the Way You Look at Things

Revisit: Changing the Way You Look at Things
December 25, 2017

When you change the way you look at things, the way you look at things actually changes. Now, what do I mean by that? Well, if you’re always a grump person, or if you’re always assuming things are gonna go bad, you start to notice all the bad things in life. All the bad things are happening in your mind, your body, your soul, your relationships, your business.

Round Hole, Square Peg

Round Hole, Square Peg
December 24, 2017

I own two marketing agencies and our average client is paying us anywhere between 1,700 and 15,000 a month in reoccurring cost. Now, they see the value in this and our actual ability to maintain a client over a course of several years is extremely high. However, over the last six months, we decided we want to make an impact for smaller businesses who couldn’t afford our services.
