Now, if you’re like me, your to-do list is a mile long. There’s all kinds of apps these days: web applications with different tips and tricks on how to manage it a to-do list. You know, people are always adding to it. It could be your spouse, another loved one, family member, friends, co-workers.
The list goes on, and no matter how much you chip away at that to-do list, it always seems to keep growing. Well, I want to talk about a technique that I utilize. It helps me be really efficient and get a lot more done as well as spend more time doing the things that I like to do.
Now, about two years ago I came up with the Author of Your Own Story concept, and the reason I came up with this is I really wanted to make a bigger impact. I had people asking me how I was living the lifestyle that I was living, and how I was able to develop the businesses that I had and do all those things that I was doing. It seemed impossible to them and I knew it wasn’t. We can all do that. But what I also recognized is that by answering these questions every day, on a one-on-one basis, I really couldn’t affect as many people as I truly wanted to.
So, what are categories of improvement? Categories of improvement is just another way of talking about how to categorize your life and look at where you want it to go. So, we’re going to break your life down into two main sections.
We’re calling them containers here. We have personal and then we have business.
