Trust Your Gut
Now this is going to be a short tip and what I’m going to talk about is something that took me a long time to learn and that’s trusting my gut or my instincts or those hunches that we have throughout life.

Someday, I’m going to go to Africa. Someday, I’m actually going to travel overseas. Someday, I’m going to run a 10K. Someday, I’m going to start my own business and it’s going to be millions of dollars coming in. Someday, I’m going to meet the perfect man or woman. Someday, I’m going to take time out of my day and meditate and really center myself. Someday, I’m going to be present. Someday, I’m going to meet the President of the United States. When is someday?
Just the other day, I was doing an intensive coaching session with a client of mine. Now, these coaching sessions typically are done in person over one to two full days. We happened to be doing this one remotely because this person was actually overseas. Now, I’m not going to tell you too much about his business, but I’m going to try to relate this story to you because you definitely know who I’m talking about.
We all have dreams, and going on the Author of Your Own Story route, many of us have big, big dreams. A lot of times, these dreams have been in the back of our minds for many years. In fact, you may even have a vision board or something else that has your dreams on it. Now let me ask you this, is there a dream or a goal or whatever you wanna call it that you’ve had that you hope to hit, but every year you just keep reinstating that goal?
I have the unique privilege of coaching a lot of business clients, and one is actually in a group, and they’re fitness professionals. Now, these are fitness professionals with over five years of experience in the fitness industry, and all of them own their own facility. They’re extremely intelligent individuals, but when it comes to their business, typical business operations, often time, they use the excuse of it being too complex, not enjoying it, or just not understanding.
