So what’s your theme? What’s your theme for this month, this quarter, this year? See my theme is posted right on my wall in front of me, so I can see it each and every day. Now the theme for 2018 for me, is epic growth and adventure. I drive through that theme, everything that I’m doing.
Just yesterday I was talking to another business owner. And they were telling me how overwhelmed they were. And they were looking for techniques or some kind of trick that I might have to help them get over overwhelm.
In fact, they were so overwhelmed, they were telling me they were gonna sell their business. They were just gonna give up, throw it all away. And they’ve been working at this for over two years. Blood, sweat, tears, the whole nine. And what I told them is what I’m gonna tell you
We all have 24 hours in a day, I don’t care who you are, you have 24 hours in the day. What are you gonna do with it? Have you ever thought of this? Have you ever woke up in the morning and said, “How can I seize and conquer this day?” Maybe you’re like me? Maybe you actually follow these daily growth hacks and realize that people like myself write down our day the night before. We plan it out. How am I gonna seize these 24 hours? Which is great. They’re a phenomenal worker. When they reached out to me, and two of their other mentors, and said, “Hey, look you guys, I would like to leave my current job, my full-time job that I have. It’s not fulfilling for me. I’d like to delve into the work that I’ve been working with you on.” And so, the work that I know that he was doing, and he made a list of all the things that he’d been working with all three of those. And kudos to him. He had three mentors, and I knew about the other two mentors, and I think it was really smart. He was building his foundation and gaining his knowledge. And he got to a point where he just had a ton of knowledge and was ready to apply. The problem was, he wasn’t sure when to make that jump.
